ABOUT THE EVENT: Please join the Discovery Center and BSU on Friday, December 8th for a very special edition of The Story Collider’s live show. After weeks of hard work, five brave students will take the stage to tell their true, personal stories. No lectures, no slides, no props. Ranging from the intellectual to outrageous, from funny to profound, we’ll explore the deeply human side of engineering. The theme is Thermodynamics: Personal paths that arc towards stability and the fluctuations that happen along the way.

SHOW: 8:00PM

 *This is a 21+ event

** Students must show Student ID at the door

ABOUT STORY COLLIDER: Whether we wear a lab coat or haven't seen a test tube since grade school, science is shaping all of our lives. And that means we all have science stories to tell. Every year, Story Collider hosts more than forty live shows all over the country, featuring all kinds of storytellers - researchers, doctors, and engineers of course, but also patients, poets, comedians, cops, and more. Story Collider's weekly podcast is available on iTunes, Stitchr, NPR One, or wherever you get your podcasts. Some of our stories are heartbreaking, others are hilarious, but they're all true and all very personal. Welcome to The Story Collider!
